I'm omnivorous and proud

Traveled yesterday to FOB Speicher, visiting D-Main.

The building is subdivided into work areas and filled with plywood cubicles - the Army version of Office Space on steroids. Over the entrance to the combat/maneuver cells is a sign that says "Carnivores" and over the entrance to the support element cells is a sign that says "Herbivores." The signs are hand made, routed in wood and polished. Except, in true Army fashion, they are spelled "Carnivors" and Herbivors" respectively.

Which pretty much sums up the United States Army. Well intentioned, fully supplied, appropriately humorous, and always forgetting an "e".
